Erkki Lauri
Alste

Opera Agent / Coach

Erkki Lauri Alste studied at the Sibelius-Academy in Helsinki, Finland, majoring in violin and singing. He also graduated as a voice teacher.

In 1994 Alste started his first music agency Orfeo Music and between 1997 and 2001 he led the Savonlinna Opera Agency bound to the well known international opera festival.

In 2001 Alste moved to Germany and founded the agency Opera-Connection in Berlin and since 2015 additionally "Stretta Artists Management" for promising young opera singers. Alste has participated in the juries of several international singing competitions and has given masterclasses for young students world wide. Since 2015 he organizes "Audition and Repertoire Workshops" world wide.

Mari Laurila

Repetitor/ Coach

Pianist, opera coach, actress and singer, Mari started singing at the age of three in Finland (golden record at the age of six). She later moved to Paris where she studied song accompaniment and opera coaching at the Paris Conservatory and acting at the Ecole Claude Mathieu. In London, Mari had a postgraduate degree in Music Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, and has since worked combining her different skills on stage and in the wings: Théâtre du Châtelet, Opéra de Monte Carlo, la Péniche Opéra, Casino de Paris, Théâtre de la Colline...
